How the OTP signing works

Every signer will need to add a One Time Pin (OTP) in order to open a document to sign which has been sent to their mobile phone whenever they  click  the signing link in the email.

This adds an extra layer of security, as well as an extra layer of identification, to ensure only the correct people to open and sign the document.

Rules regarding mobile numbers:

  • International prefixes have to be added, ie: +27 for South Africa
  • All numbers starting with a 0 will have the 0 deleted. This is automatically done.
  • If a number is incorrect, a notification will appear in the notifications tab at the top of the page as well as in the audit trail.
